Synova Cantrell

This short but interesting book lives up to its title. There is nothing earth-shattering here, but the author has done a good job of collecting these tales, and she provides the source for each story. Reading it, I'm reminded of my Business Law professor, who regaled us with tale after tale of "chuckleheads"--such as the car salesmen who had a running bet on who could first persuade a female customer to step inside a car trunk so they could lock her in. Or the sheriff's deputies who stopped and got out of their car (with their prisoner) to see a snake, who promptly bit the prisoner.… (más)
