Dorothy, Marchioness of Cambridge (1899–1988)

Dorothy Isabel Westenra Hastings was a daughter of The Hon. Osmund William Toone Westenra Hastings, and a granddaughter of the Earl of Huntingdon. In 1923, she married George Francis Hugh Cambridge, Earl of Eltham, later 2nd Marchioness of Cambridge, a minor member of the British Royal Family. Two years before World War II, she put together The Royal Blue and Gold Cookbook as a charity project; it remained unpublished until the 1970s.
