This volume covers the special force 'Chindits' introduced into the Burma Campaign of WWII. Operating behind the Japanese lines, the Chindits were supplied by air and ushered in a new type of conducting war.
The Chindits, officially as Long Range Penetration Groups, were special operations units of the British and Indian armies which saw action in 1943–1944 .
