Ted Cabal

This is the Bible I am reading this year. I am on an annual Bible reading plan and use a different Bible each year. This one is okay. Different translation than NIV or ESV which is primarily why I chose it. I liked the translation, especially how it was consistent with doulos - slave. Some translations monkey around and call it servant or bondservant. It was objective in its study notes - not taking a stand on subjects such as sacraments or the end times - but presenting different interpretations. I didn't read all the articles, but the ones I did read were pretty good. It wouldn't be my primary Bible - that place will always go to THE Lutheran Study Bible - but this is a good secondary Bible.… (más)
