"Bound" showed up as a free book based on my preferences. The premise caught my attention, so I decided to give it a shot, and I am glad that I did! I really enjoy the world that Bryant created, and was particularly struck by the characters of Lydia and Altaria. There were times that the plot did seem to drag a bit here and there, but overall I found it to be an enjoyable read and will definitely be picking up the sequel.
I really liked, but thought it was a bit choppy in some parts.

Highly recommended for fans of romantic fantasy who don't mind their series being serials. I will not be picking up more of this series because I do mind. While I understand not all stories can fit nearly within a single book, I much prefer each book to be a single arc of the story, and not have the book end on a cliffhanger. So I won't be picking up more of the series, but for those who enjoy this format, Broken (and I assume the rest of the series) is a great read.… (más)
