This textbook has everything and anything you need to know about genres in children’s literature. It provides a great list of books to use as resources. I like how the author uses sub headings throughout the chapters. It kept things entertaining and broke up the reading.

This book would be very useful in teaching children's literature to a classroom. It is well written and easy to follow.
