Comprehensive biography of this icon of the American frontier. It's difficult not to find a book about Daniel Boone interesting - his life was so fascinating on many levels.

The author clearly did his research, and presents the material in a fair and objective fashion. No ideological judgments here.

I recommend this book for all readers, even those without an interest in early American history. Daniel Boone is just that interesting.

I would have ranked this book higher but for the fact that sometimes the author's writing style can be a bit long-winded and/or tedious.… (más)
