This book was a joy to read. I'm really hoping a sequel may eventually come about. It's a unique and enchanting tale. A young teen boy opens the door to discover a baby on the doorstep. Imagine his shock to quickly learn the young tyke is his. As the book begins we see him as a typical teen. Rather self involved. However as it unfolds we see him as a truly caring, smart and brave young man. It would be a trial for any single, teen father....except this baby is unique to say the very least. She can vanish in the blink of an eye and pop up in a whole other room. Imagine the sheer panic when she first did that little trick . Yet he and his family (father and 2 younger brothers) took it all in stride. There's a mystery behind how the child gained this ability, and why her mum felt the urgency to flee. I loved seeing him grow as a dad, while peeling away the layers to the mystery of who hunts his child and her mother...and why. We meet a cast of amazing characters along the way. Lots of laughter and cheering occurred on my end. It didn't end on a cliffhanger per se, but I would love to see what else happens in the future of this amazing baby and her dad. This is not in my opinion classified as a true paranormal book. There is a slight paranormal tone with what this little cutie can do, but other than that it's not. In my mind it's a fun read with elements of mystery, adventure, teen angst and paranormal overtones. It is a fun read that I think everyone from teens and adults will enjoy. It's about family and love in many forms. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an enjoyable read!!!… (más)
