Creighton Broadhurst

This is a collection of names, Anglo-Saxon, Finnish, Greek, Roman and Viking, for use in RPGs. Except for the Greek and Viking, they have lists of male names, female names and surnames; those two have lists of descriptive adjectives instead of the surnames. It's pretty normalizing; (almost?!?) all the diaereses have been removed from the Finnish names, the Romans used three-part names, not firstname surname, and it provides ahistorical surnames for the Anglo-Saxon names. (The last it does note.) It's not hard to replicate with Internet sources, and a baby book will give you a lot more names (if of mixed origin), but this has been neatly tabulated and indexed for easy use in a game. At $2 for the PDF, it may see enough use to make it worth its while.… (más)
