The intrigue continues when one reads St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane Frances de Chantal, who founded the Order of the Visitation, as well as involving oneself with the life and letters of direction of St. Margaret Mary's spiritual director, Bl. Claude la Colombiere, S.J. This volume includes much spiritual instruction, as well, in the details of convent life and that of the saint, how she developed spiritually.
