John David Borthwick

My book is a first edition. This is probably, pretty easily, the best general book about the California Gold Rush I have read. Well-written, easily read, knowledgeable, factually correct, and vastl entertaining. The book was also illustrated b the author. The illustrations reminded me of the film "Paint your Wagon" so much I had to rewatch it, for the 25th or so time. Good, good stuff.
