Rachael Bloome

This was a G-rated vanilla story. No real conflict or drama. It could have been a wonderful story... I liked the premise but not the execution.

It was a cute read. But the timeline was a bit ridiculous.

Coffee connoisseur and Christmas grinch, Cassie is single, broke, unemployed and trying to manage an alcoholic mother. When her grandmother dies and leaves her a house in a small town, Cassie thinks that all of her dreams have come true. She will have the money to sort her life out. But there is a catch. A clause in the will forces her to celebrate Christmas as per her grandmother's Christmas calendar in order to inherit. A pleasant and enjoyable Christmas romance. A light but fun read.

So adorable. I love all the characters, this is a heartwarming story that makes you smile throughout the reading journey.

While the storyline not so original (feeling deja vu that I've read a similar storyline), but Rachael Bloome wrote it wonderfully that I totally enjoy reading it.

I can't wait for the next book.
