Excellent field guide, pictures are great for 90 percent of birds, times of year best seen is an excellent feature.

A good guide covering the birds found in northern California. It's a bit large considering it doesn't contain as many birds as a more comprehensive guide would have, but it's still a pretty good book.

Great book for identifying Northern California birds. I find the illustrations very helpful and true to life.
