This book is only Part One of Berkman's 1929 book, Now and After: The ABC of Anarchism. Parts Two and Three were published by Freedom Press as The ABC of Anarchism. AK Press reprinted the complete book for the first time in 2003.

Based on Berkman's Dairy 1920-1922. Includes the final chapter, "Lessons of the Bolshevik Myth," which had been deleted by Boni & Liveright in their 1925 edition. "The present edition is the first publication of the complete work as Berkman wrote it." -- Nicolas Walter

Finally, this AK Press edition is the complete 1929 book, as reprinted complete in 1937 by the original publisher, not another one of the many abridged editions.

A good conceptual overview. Some of the points it the book, such as workers taking control of their factories, are no longer relevant, as there is not nearly the same level of industrial production in this country. That being said, certainly lots of good ideas to be found. A more modern look at these concepts would be welcome.
