This is a concise, informative guide to networking written in a personable style. Benton, an introvert herself, displays empathy for introverts but does not permit readers to use their introversion as an excuse for not interacting and sharing with others. Benton starts with an appreciation of the strengths of introversion and makes the case for the need to network. She then explains in detail how to effectively network in person. Anyone who aspires to become a CEO would find this book beneficial because it will give you some insight into some of the traits you will need to have or develop. Although there isn't any earth-shattering new revelation about the characteristics of a CEO, it is a good, concise summary of the topic.
