Head First Python: A Brain-Friendly Guide por Paul Barry
I actually taught myself Python (I am an experience C# developer) using online tutorials. But I got this book because it covered web development, which many online sources do not. (Even the MIT lectures on computer programming with python skip this). So the explanations on which system to use (Flask vs. Django) were helpful. It focused on Flask, which is fine, especially since if your learning a new system, you don't want to spend a lot of time learning the underlying system, but how to code the web pages and get your database information displayed properly.… (más)
This proved to be quite efficient and enjoyable. The examples are clear and the exercises are challenging but not daunting.
Livro muito bom, mas é pra quem sabe pelo menos o básico de programação. O autor usa o Python nos exemplos, apesar dele dizer que não é um livro sobre Python, eu tenho minhas dúvidas.
Save your money. I'm a fan of the Head First books, but this one fails to deliver. Poorly presented, the book makes too many assumptions and leaps. I'm not sure who they had in mind as the audience, but they say it was for beginners, and that just ain't so. The only reason I haven't sent it back for a refund is that I want to keep it as an example of how not to write a book on programming (or anything else, for that matter).
