I really enjoyed this book. It was a bit different from the usual thriller of detective versus criminal. The main character was well developed and believable; he didn't actually realise what he was getting into but conscience directed him to continue. I confess to not reading every punch in the action scenes but I loved the way the themes of religion/slavery/terrorism were all woven together. An intelligently written book.
