This book has many things going for it, but that adds to the disappointment when it delivers so little of its promise. The plot, promising much in the area of erotic punishment, has a hedonistic aristocrat, his submissive wife, and an entourage of like-minded friends who enjoy erotic parties at his home, which happens to be within telescope range of a school for young ladies. The school’s Headmistress has a penchant for applying the cane to the mischievous rear parts of her lusty charges, and such basic ingredients have huge potential for erotic chastisements, both M/F and F/F. There are certainly some stimulating encounters here, and they are certainly competently described, including two episodes in which Lord Brexford is allowed a role in the debauchment of one of the young ladies, Ellie, and another in which Headmistress Claire Petty gets a form of come-uppance at one of the manor’s parties. But relatively little attention is given to activities at the school, and in general so much more could have been made of the ingredients, and I sensed that the material was being spread thinly to allow a sequel.… (más)
