This book will have young readers interested by the title page. The 6 chapters walk the readers though the many diffferent animals that have walked the earth. The pictures both photgraphs and artwork grabs the readers attention and makes them want to read more. I like this book because it introduces animals that children do not get to see. I would use this with 1st-5th graders, when talking about extiniction. They could choose an animal to write up a story about what happened to them.
