Crazy, unbelievable, over the top adventures of a brother and sister who fall out of a plane and have a series of adventures in Africa. They befriend a Spanish-speaking monkey and a toothless tiger and meet a sweet old woman who reveals herself to be the wicked witch Hagmar. Is it all just a dream? The expressive, cartoony illustrations add to the fun. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have happy memories of my sister reading it to me.
