A very important sociologist. I hadn'tknow when I rescued this discard sold by the Friends of the Library of the Central Branch of the Atlanta Fulton Public Library. It was accessioned in 1941 and the book label was still written in pen.It was probably the only copy,and I appear to be the only LT member with the copy. However, given the employment situation in 2010, this seems to be an important book. No jobs,wandering Americans,no solution,though 2 years before the US entered WWII Anderson is already mentioning how war manufacturing may rescue the American worker.Very well written.
The theme of technological unemployment on farms and plants occurs again and again.… (más)
