This is a high-quality training manual for soccer referees There were lots of good illustrations, and the material was sprinkled with some personal anecdotes, which gave some life to the sometimes dry rules.

There are a number of "test yourself" questions: some easy, some very challenging. My one complaint is that all the laws of soccer are hidden away in an appendix (at least in the 2000 edition); it would be helpful if particular sections were repeated in front of the chapter that interprets them for less flipping back-and-forth.… (más)
