I really enjoyed this read. I thought this book was such a fun and great summer read. I also really enjoyed the main character and how this tackled so many contempory issues like sexuality, friendship and more. It was a fast pace read but I also really like how this book was structured before and Present. I also liked how this book focused on friendship and also just a tale of bi main character and how that developed. It was super fun read, and will def read more by this author in the future.

This probably isn't the book for me. I'm not big into the athlete life, so this probably wasn't the right topic choice. I struggle with Jack, and I find her to be a little too whiney and then later in the final moments its mostly all down to her. But it's different from other books and maybe this will hit home better for someone else. It's cute and very YA and that's not a bad thing. For the audiobook, I wasn't really big on how Jack's voice was portrayed even though I like both narrators.

This book sets out to reimagine Shakespeare's plays in ways that are not so white or straight. The book is divided by types of plays (comedies, tragedies, histories...) and different authors write each story using different formats. As a person who has read a lot of Shakespeare, I appreciated the approaches to modernizing parts of the stories. It was a entertaining concept.
