This is fascinating reading about the author's search for the truth about the lost city of Atlantis. A fun read. The author fills us in on Plato's writings, Pythagoras, ancient myths, known cataclysmic earthquakes and tsunamis and lots of other things that might have had some bearing on whether or not Atlantis existed and if so, where. Very enjoyable book.

Adams builds his Alaska travels and this book around the historical trip of Harrimans expedition, and it works. He’s got just the right mix of history, personal anecdotes and honest outtakes to keep you going.

The author’s photos weren’t in color and were very small.… (más)

I’ve enjoyed some of the author’s other works so I thought I would try this one as well. Not my favorite — I got bogged down in the mathematical tangents, but still a enjoyable read.
