After breaking her engagement five years ago to Flint Mauro, Anna Carson is back in Courage Bay to become the SWAT Team Paramedic and is shocked to find out that Flint is now the SWAT Team Leader. Within minutes of being informed by their Chief that the two of them will be working together a hostage situation has happened at City Hall. Flint is furious that Anna will be sent in to help any injured.
From there, the story takes place inside the City Hall where a dangerous situation is happening. The reasons Anna broke the engagement don't seem as important now as they race to save their lives and the lives of the hostage. (
