This book is a part of a series and they focus a lot on exploring and adventure. The books can also be educational as well as having great illustrations. I would have this book in my future class. The great ice age is a story pirate cats trying to travel through time, they accidentally end up in 37993BC. When the cats meet their Neanderthal ancestors, they hear the legend of a Giant Wooly Mammoth and come up with a plan to capture it and bring back to present times. Geronimo must travel to the Ice Age to stop the cats from changing history forever. This story was very cute and reminded me a lot of the movie Ice Age. My son and I read this story over a three day period; every night he wanted me to keep reading but I had to make it last. I’m sure he dreamed about this story in his sleep. I remember my first job (MOS) in the military; we created comic books for the kids. This was an attempt to stop the children from being suicide boomers by teaching them healthy and effective techniques for fighting. The comic books had a huge impact in Iraq and I’m grateful to have played a role in this. Graphic novels are great for kids with massive imaginations and creativity. This would be a great story to assign to a class to read alone. It keeps them busy and intrigued. I loved this story and I thought it was very cute. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
