Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. 63-year-old Jean Baggott decides, on New Year's Eve 1999, to make a tapestry of her life. A fairly ordinary life, but full of memories and reminiscence about her past. Her story is told in chapters about each of the small stitched circles. This is a very "heavy" book, in that it is printed on thicker paper than normal, so not your 'curl up in bed to read' kind of book. I picked this up at a Book Group at my local library and wasn't sure I was going to bother with it at all, but once I did start, I throughly enjoyed the vignettes and the look into a life not so very different to mine. A beguiling memoir and social history told through a hand-sewn tapestry. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
