This book is filled with bright, eye-catching images which would get the attention of any young child. Being a completely wordless book, the story relies on its images to hold the audience, and I think it succeeds in doing so. From the images, you see that a duckling breaks free from his shell and expects to see his mother, when the first thing he actually sees is a little boy, who he now believes to be his mother. The boy nurtures the baby duck, but knows that the duck can't stay with him. The duck needs to be with his own kind and grow up with his family. This is a very cute story that would have any young child going "awwww!"

A wordless tale about a turtle and a rabbit, who both like different things and thinks that the other is weird. However, as the story goes on, we find out that they indeed do have a lot in common. This leads to two happy playmates who now love spending time together.

Colorful pictures and very few select words do a great job of telling the story of a young boy raising a duck and having to let it go.

A cute story of a duckling that breaks out of his shell and thinks of the first thing it sees to be its mama, which happens to be a young boy. The boy and duckling become inseparable, but the boy realizes that the now grown duckling will have to return to be with others like itself.

Cute, almost wordless, story about a little boy who is followed home by a little duck. They become friends until fall comes and it is time for the duck to grow up with other duck, leaving the boy. However in the end a new surprise awaits the little boy on his next walk through the park.
