Along with her family she is first sent to Westerbork, where she struggle to make friends and survive. Her family is then sent to Bergen-Belsen, where the conditions are considerably worse. Although this is an interesting book, it is a bit far-fetched. It describes the camps more in the terms of a harsh summer camp rather than the death and work camps that they were. Further, it is a bit incredulous that the entire family was able to stay together and that they were never separated from their luggage. Although Rosemarie had lice, she was also spared from the hair cutting that was a matter of routine in the camps. Overall, I would not recommend this book to those wanting to learn more about the holocaust. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
