Another free short story from Gutenburg etc. In many ways it's the stereotypical 50's Asimov, light and easy to read, with some interesting background and a plot that helps move it along. At times this one seems a little too much Leave It To Beaver, but that's often his style. ( )

A very Ray Bradbury like tale, which I suppose is to be expected from Asimov. I liked it, even though it felt a very vintage 1952 view of space. I remember the first Star Wars movie when it was released in the 1970's, the scene in the bar was so cutting edge, it took your breath...and we had already had Star Trek to draw on. I can imagine this story was exactly that in 1952. It is still enjoyable. ( )

A cute first contact story, a couple surprising twists and only minor injuries. ( )

This was the first Isaac Asimov piece of writing I’ve read. It was entertaining enough and the surprise ending was clever. ( )

I just feel like reading it again and again, i loved the ending so much! Btw if you want to read it please avoid the illustrated one. ( )
