This book would be good for primary students. This book is "Can I Play Too?" written and illustrated by Mo Willems and published in 2010. I absolutely love Elephant and Piggie books. They are so lighthearted and fun to read. The illustrations are so simple yet the characters are so animated in their expressions. This one is about a snake that wants to play catch with elephant and Piggie, but they can't figure out how to because the snake doesn't have arms. They come up with a solution that they throw the snake back and forth instead of the ball. I would for sure use this in my future classroom because it teaches kids to be imaginative when it comes to figuring out solutions and it shows them that everyone should be allowed to play with everyone, even if they are different than them. "Can I Play Too?" was the first Elephant and Piggie book that I read. I literally laughed out loud to Elephant and Piggie's hilarious situation of trying to include their snake friend in their game of catch. Through trial and error, Elephant and Piggie use their problem solving skills to reach their goal. This is a fabulous easy-to-read book that has vibrant and complimentary illustrations. Gerald and Piggie are getting ready to play a game of catch when Snake arrives and asks to play too. Gerald and Piggie want to play with their new friend, but (Piggie tries to point this out delicately) Snake has no arms. They try anyway, and eventually come up with a way to play catch with Snake. ;-) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
