A simplistic book about a girl’s affinity for the sun. The girl gives various examples about why the sun is her favorite. The illustrations are pleasing to the eyes and the story is a sweet love story. It’s a great book that can be used as a teaching point about the sun being a star. Kids may not know that it is, to this day that concept still blows my mind. ( )

The sun is her favorite star that greets her every morning. She can do so many things with the sun.

I absolutely love this book. Many of the students did not know the sun was a star and how it reflects on the child's day throughout the book and bases other weather than jst the sun. ( )
