Elmer finds a novel way to keep everyone happy without spoiling the elephants' celebration.

I'll be honest; I bought quite a few books in the Elmer series when my older son was growing up. I read this to my younger son as a bedtime story, by special request following on from reading Elmer a couple of nights before. I love Elmer's sense of fun and his empathic solutions.
