There are some juicy stories in this book, but there are no credible sources listed to back them up. Sometimes I got the feeling the author was just making sh*t up! Still, for entertainment value and the smidgen of possibility that some of this might be true, serious MJ fans may want to take a look. I especially enjoyed the bit about his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley being cooked up by the Church of Scientology to convert Michael from his homosexual ways and make him their poster boy. There's also very detailed accounts of the child molestation trials and testimony, if that floats your boat. ( )
Ian Halperin does a better job [than others] of bringing the story up to date... Yet these first posthumous books say relatively little about his music and each fails to build a coherent narrative out of the jumble of Jackson’s character, children, marriages, changing appearance, drug use and finances. Distinciones
"Delivers new revelations about Michael Jackson's controversial life and legacy: his multiple plastic surgeries, his skin bleaching, his sexual identity, and his potentially fatal genetic condition ... and dispels the popular myths" about the King of Pop. The conclusion was written after "Michael Jackson died just as this book was going to press." No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
