I would highly recommend this for a science lesson about dinosaurs. It will surely engage all of the young readers who love to ask lots of questions. It also teaches readers about scientific theories. I loved that the author, Bernard Most, was very honest and stated that scientists are still unsure about a lot of dinosaur questions. Bernard even invited the readers to come up with their own theories by asking, "What do you think?" This will provoke critical thinking for all ages. ( )

Most answers many of the questions children have about dinosaurs. Instead of directly answering the questions, Most depicts the children searching for the answers in books. This stresses the importance of research. I think it is important for kids to look things up for themselves instead of always having an adult give them the answer. ( )

They find out what dinosaurs were the fastest, biggest, smallest, and longest. They also find out that scientist are always making new discoveries and changing their theories about dinosaurs. This book gives great illustrations of what dinosaurs might have looked like, including size, length, and color. I would not advise this for a read aloud because it is lengthy, but it is a good book for children to read by themselves to learn more about dinosaurs. ( )

Many facts about dinosaurs are a mystery and this book addresses many of those lingering questions although the scientists do not have all of the answers, they give strong evidence for their hypothesis on each question.
