She was a marine biologist, environmentalist, and a writer. She grew up on her family’s farm in Pennsylvania, and this is where she grew her love for animals and the environment. Carson attended the College for Women in 1925. She was the first person to bring awareness on the environmental impact of fertilizers and pesticides. I never knew anything at all about Rachel Carson and this biography is the perfect read for children to learn about Carson and her accomplishments in life. This book is a good book to incorporate into a science lesson for children learning about the environment and Carson’s contribute to it. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
