Úřad konečně zjistil, kdo má na svědomí noční můry Liz Shermanové. Tu však unesl záhadný Memnan Sa, aby s pomocí jejích schopností získal posvátný oheň Černé bohyně. Mezitím z podzemí začínají proudit nelidští bojovníci, před nimiž Memnan Sa již dříve varoval, a tým Ú.P.V.O. čeká zásadní bitva, jež je současně začátkem apokalyptické války. ( )

Holy wow! Gorgeous work, OTT crazy story... This is why I'm reading all the Mignoliana I can find. ( )

I apparently started with a book that is not only late in the series, but is also the middle of a trilogy; so naturally I was a little bit confused. However that being said, there was still enough of a self-contained story in this volume for me to follow and not get totally annoyed. I really wish I had read previous volumes because the myths and story development behind this plot seemed extremely interesting. Other then that I kind of don't want to judge because as I said I was missing parts of the story. ( )
