Review/Critique:
Turtle and Heron are not just neighbors, but best friends. Throughout the book, Heron and Turtle go on a walk, they had lunch together, and they spent time together one summer night at the lake. The relationship between Heron and Turtle portrays a true friendship.
This is good fantasy fiction, especially for young children because it deals with friendship- something very tangible for this age range. This is fantasy however because the friendship is between two animals.
