Exciting story about a Shadow Unit commander (Seb Cordasic) who is assigned to protect a country music superstar (Jillie Everhart) from recent threats against her. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had plenty of action and a great main couple. It was a case of opposites attracting. Jillie was so vibrant, energetic, outgoing, and full of life. I liked that she was a singer, it was fun to see her go on tour and perform. Jillie was also quite gutsy in dangerous situations. Seb was calm, cool, and emotionless. A while back, some terrorists held Seb captive and performed experiments on him which took all of his emotions away. But everything works out in the end!

A very enjoyable read by Karen Whiddon. ( )
