Amazing, rich, heart touching/breaking story within a 24/7 D/s (BDSM) relationship(s)

I just finished this book.

I have no words that could do justice to this story.

It is a beautifully written love story; my heart was breaking
for the characters throughout the entirety of the story.

Bit I could not put this book down.

A must read for those looking to read a love story.
Definitely one of best stories I've read.

JUST AMAZING!

I know this INCREDIBLE story will stay with me for a very long time.

I'm at a loss...Absolutely one of the most heart wrenching books I've read. EVER. And yet, it was so beautiful.

I felt everything with these characters. The joy, despair, lust, anger and hope throughout this entire thought provoking story.

If I haven't made myself clear: this is a very emotionally heavy read, but the best things in life aren't often easy ;)

Kudos to Tymber Dalton and Lesli Richardson ( )

Am I a heartless person for reading this novel and not shedding a single tear in the course of it? Here I was, tissue box ready, as recommended by many reviewers, and didn't have to use a single one of them. And yes, the circumstances described in the book are terribly, terribly sad, so that's not it.
Should I have cried? I cry whenever something 'terrible' happens on reruns of 'Little house on the prairie', if that's an indication, and can't keep dry eyes whenever 'Sissi' is shown, usually during the Christmas holidays. So, why not from reading this novel?
Is it the novel, the characters, the writing style, the sequencing of events - by all means, let's find external factors - or is it me?
I don't know.

What I do know is that I'm left with a sense of satisfaction at the end of this novel: They did the right thing. My sense of how the universe should work (time for some serious throat clearing) is gratified (where is the nearest bucket, please). And just to be clear, the stuff in parentheses is meant to reflect on me as a reader, not on the quality of the novel.
Some time ago, I read Annabel Joseph's Burn for You (Club Mephisto #2), and despised main characters Mr. Copeland and Mephisto for exactly not doing what main characters Kaden and Seth do set out to do in this novel.
So why am I not over the moon?
I don't know.

What I do know, is that this novel could just as easily have been called, 'The two reluctant doms' or even 'Love is all'. (Suddenly I hear an enticing tune and see a green frog striding holding a guitar but I'm sure it will pass, don't worry.)
I guess the theme of this novel is not what I expected.
Its themes are love, caring, human bonding, and is there anything you would not do for the ones you love?
Granted, what is described is not your average love and not your average means of expressing it.
Not the kind of love story I would recommend to your average romance reader. Although, maybe, I would.
I don't know. Maybe.

What I do know, is that this novel did not answer my question, Can dominance be acquired? So not recommended if this is your question as well.
What I did learn is that with time and practice enough, proficiency with the 'single tail' can be acquired. But it takes love and dedication to do it.
(Ah, the green frog again, singing... Always did make me smile, that song.)
But if you liked the movie 'PS I love you', and have an open mind about Love with a capital L, you'll like this novel as well.

What an emotional journey. This book was so much more than just BDSM erotica. This book had heart. Tymber Dalton did a fantastic job of creating such a beautifully heartbreaking story that had me gripping the pages until the very end. ( )
