Ex-SWAT, ex-army sniper Mike Redman takes it upon himself to avenge what he considers some instances of miscarriage of justice. He bases his conclusions and his victims on the reportings of South Florida Daily News reporter Nick Mullins. As a police reporter, Nick trys to avoid sensationalizing the crimes but brings the human side of the tragedy into the stories he writes. Nick is struggling with his own demons. A miscarriage of justice allowed the man responsible for a tragic accident that claimed the life of Nick's wife and one of his twin daughters to dodge a DUI and a manslaughter charge. Nick struggles through the novel trying to come to terms with his personal conflicts of forgiveness versus vengeance. (
