I liked this book because the characters and the language are both well developed. The characters are very relate-able for a student in this grade level. Often times students are struggling to gain insight and knowledge into their learning concepts, especially math. This ties into the idea that the plot is organized and suspenseful. As a student in fourth or fifth grade, learning new math concepts could be difficult. An example of how difficult math is for the main character, Erin, is when the author explains how numbers dance around in her head and then shrink. Though, the plot seems difficult for a young student, the story does provide hope. As a result of the plot, the character grows and develops into a student that is capable of learning and mastering her mathematical concepts. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
