The illustrations are nice, but the rhymes didn't do it for me -- I suspect the problem is the translation and that the rhymes are better in their original languages. ( ) Summary: This book is a collection of rhymes and songs that are told around the world, from China, Korea, Japan, Iran and more. Along with each poem is a large painting of children acting it out or surrounded in an environment that mirrors the poem if it talks about a forest or animals. Review: this book makes a good poetry book because it celebrates the cultures of countries around the world, so if there were a time when the class wanted to celebrate a certain culture, this book might have some written poetry or songs that the class could listen to and talk about. This book brings attention to cultures and values that are different are shared through the world. Media: some form of paint sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
