In fact, I found the premise and basic story pretty good. It is the story of a young teen discovering his powers and that he has a destiny to save the world from darkness. Some of the art is a bit overloaded, but it is good overall. While I get this is geared to teens, specifically teen boys, and I like the female form as much as the next healthy male, the gag of Ral's obsession with boobs does get a bit old or grinding after a while. Overall, if I come across the next volume in the series, I may read it, but I won't actively seek it out. ( ) This one caught my eye because it's a new series and because the artist also drew Death Note. The art style is very nice, and it's interesting to see Obata's hyper-realistic art put in service to the wild and fantastic action. The story itself is a little cliche, but there's a few touches that keep it neat. Ral, for instance, is both innocent and amoral, a clever character twist. There's also a lot of 'fanservice', well-drawn and fairly tasteful, but newcomers to the manga genre may be a little put off. All in all, it's enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to the next volume. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
