Memoir compiled from weekly letters Anne Bosanko wrote to her parents from the time she enlisted in the WAC in Sept. 1944 to demobilization in 1946. She was trained as a surgical technician at William Beaumont General Hospital in Ft. Bliss, El Paso and at La garde General Hospital in New Orleans. She was then stationed at Birmingham General Hospital in CA for nearly a year. After v_j Day she volunteered for special training in Occupational Therapy at Halloran General Hospital in Staten Island and completed her service at Madigan General Hospital in Tacoma Washington.
