Lindsay – not her real name – has been on the run for years – on the run for her life. She is being hunted down, and has a very good reason not to put her trust in the police again. But she’s going to have to learn to trust someone eventually. Especially as her past has finally caught up with her.
Kylie Brant’s Silhouette novels are above and beyond what you would expect – she also writes longer romantic suspense, and has proven herself just as competent in that field. Her characterisation is always interesting, and you never quite know what directions she’ll take you in before the conclusion of her story.
This has to be one of my favourite romantic suspense stories. The leading couple are so great – definitely one of my favourite fictional couples. Brant manages to pack so much into this fantastic book. (
