Can't help but wonder if she didn't borrow her main character from Michael Jecks. Lacks depth, accuracy and detail which I believe indicates a general lack of research that would have helped her to avoid the faux pas that occur in her book ie: married women didn't have braids hanging down beneath their coifs, no matter how young they were. Only single women could show their hair, married women wore veils and at that time, mantles. Also she allowed modern language to slip in here and there which affects the feel of the story. If Ms. Ash would put more effort into research and fill out her characters and stories, her books would definitely be improved. I usually don't get rid of medieval mysteries, I love them so much, but I'm not that vested in this one and think it will end up in my resale pile. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
