This story is about a blue spruce tree named Bruce that is the only one of his kind in the forest. One day a group of mice come to greet Bruce and make him feel bad about himself saying that Bruce cannot be a Christmas tree because he isnt green. The mice make him feel different and he feels like his dream of being a Christmas tree will never come true. Then a bunny named Jack notices that Bruce is sad and asks him why. Bruce explains but Jack reassures him saying that Bruce will make a beautiful Christmas tree. Years go by and Bruce grows bigger and bigger until he is the perfect size for a christmas tree. One day as Bruce had lost all hope as he was one of the only tress left he felt a little girl tugging on his branches. The little girl yelled that she wanted Bruce because he was perfect, and the family took him home for Christmas. This story has a strong central message that it is okay to be different, and that every one is unique in their won way and that is okay. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Just in time for the Holidays, a children's story for the child in all ofus! All Bruce ever wanted was to be chosen by a special family to be theirChristmas tree...but no one wants a BLUE Christmas tree! A heartwarming taleabout accepting the differences in ourselves and in others, Bruce: The LittleBlue Spruce is a story about alienation and individuality, about prejudiceand rising above it. And maybe, most importantly, it's a story about findingone's place regardless of one's "handicaps". Engagingly written by Kristen Koerner Simon as a gift to her family, illustrated by Image Comics founder and award-winning artist Jim Valentino, withpainted color by Avery Butterworth, Bruce: The Little Blue Spruce willcharm even the most cynical of Scrooge's all year long, and gently teach avaluable lesson for all.
