Audience: pre K -3rd grades This is a fantastic book about windy weather and the wind is personified here as a girl who moves boats and windmills and blows off hats and kites, etc. It is a great book that students at all levels will enjoy and has a lot of science connections. It can be used in the classroom to discuss effects of wind on people, plants, animals and how wind can cause rain. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I like this book because it focuses on concrete examples that can help young learners conceptualize what air and wind is even though they cannot see it.
I would use this with younger students as a read aloud when introducing the topic of wind and air. It can also be integrated into a unit about the lifecycle of plants as it touches on how seeds are spread. ( )
