Several days a week I walk along the roads that these houses were built on (and some of them are still there), and I wonder about the history and the styles, so this was an excellent investment for me. The line-drawings are really much better than photographs for pointing out the things we notice in architecture, and the descriptions of the various styles, as applient to Annapolis, were clear, cogent and practical, especially for a layman like me who wouldn't, beforehand, have known the difference between Queen Anne and Colonial.

So you can understand how I was amused when I got to the credits at the end and all the work, it turns out , was done by unpaid interns! ( )
